DESCRIPTION:The National Education Collaboration Trust (NECT)\, in partners
 hip with the Teaching\, Teachers and Teacher Education for Equitable and Qu
 ality Learning Consortium\, will launch the National Longitudinal Teacher P
 edagogy Programme (NLTPP) Seminar Series at the University of the Free Stat
 e on 18 September 2026\, from 09:00 to 13:00. The inaugural seminar\, title
 d “Unpacking Teacher Pedagogy in South African Classrooms\,” will provi
 de a national platform for dialogue on how pedagogy is enacted across South
  Africa’s diverse classroom contexts and the conditions that support effe
 ctive teaching and equitable learning.\nThe seminar will outline the study
 ’s rationale\, scope\, design and complementary sub-studies\, while shari
 ng preliminary insights from current data collection. Researchers\, policym
 akers\, practitioners\, teacher educators\, professional associations and c
 ivil-society partners are invited to engage in focused discussions on teach
 er development\, classroom practice and opportunities for collaboration.
