Suitable candidates should aspire to pursue a career in education planning and management and have well developed computer literacy, communication, research, report writing, administration and data management skills.

Head: Systems Capacity Support and Advisory

The Head will provide leadership and direction in the implementation of strategic projects, identification of technical assistance needs for the education system, and facilitation of engagements on education policy for the futures agenda and its implications for the South African Education Sector.

Head: Districts and School Systems

This role conceptualises, designs, and implements functional strategies for the Division, in line with the NECT strategy. The Head leads the building of capacity and processes in districts to enable the effective implementation of education improvement initiatives that contribute to learning and teaching outcomes.

Head: Social Capital Building and Partnerships

The role will provide leadership and direction to NECTs Social Capital and Partnership strategy, by designing and implementing platforms and initiatives that promote a shared vision for education improvement and create investment partnerships around specific programmes and projects.

Vacancy: Accountant (Fixed Term)

The Financial Accountant will manage the finance function by ensuring the implementation of policies, processes, procedures, guidelines and systems to ensure the provision of effective finance and procurement services to enable NECT to achieve its overall strategic objectives whilst receiving unqualified audit reports, thus ensuring that NECT is recognized for its level of compliance and sound financial management and corporate governance practices.
